Seed Production Asia New Zealand (SPANZ) are based in Christchurch, New Zealand and were formed to provide a link between high quality New Zealand and Asian seed producers and seed supply companies throughout, Asia, Europe and the USA.

The principals, staff and associates of SPANZ have over 100+ years of experience in the New Zealand and Asian seed growing industry.

Seed Production Asia New Zealand (SPANZ) are members of the Asian Pacific Seed Association (APSA).

Stephen Finch: SPANZ Company Director Stephen Finch knows the New Zealand Grain and Seed Industry inside out. He has been involved within the New Zealand Grain and Seed business all of his working career and has an extensive insight to the industry from its different angles. He worked for many of New Zealand's most respected seed production companies including Hodder & Tolley, Yates Corporation, Elders and Specialty Seeds. Stephen started his career as an agronomist responsible for overseeing seed production in the Central and Mid Canterbury areas known as the known as the "cropping bowl" of New Zealand. During this time he was responsible for overseeing crop production of every crop grown in the region and was also involved in the production of the first Asian brassica crops in New Zealand. Following this time he held senior positions in management and marketing roles within the industry. Married with two adult children, Stephen enjoys the challenge his busy lifestyle provides. David Percival: SPANZ Company Director David Percival has also spent his entire working career within the seed industry. During this time David worked for the Canterbury Seed Company, Hodder & Tolley, Elders and Specialty Seeds. David has been involved in marketing, shipping and logistics of most grain and seed products New Zealand produces. David also was responsible for the exporting of product throughout Europe, Asia and the United States. David places a strong emphasis on our cultivating strong client and customer relationships. David has a keen interest in all sport, particularly horse racing. David is also married with two adult children. Contact:    david@spanz.co.nz
